Welcome to the 2006 List

I will admit that 2005 was an awesome year of reading for me. Never in my wildest dreams would I have even contemplated reading that many books in one year.

For 2006, my hope is to read a minimum of 50 books. I'm not even going to try to attempt to break last year's record. I mean, if I hit it I hit it, if not, I'm still enjoying many, many hours escaping into lands of fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, etc. and getting the full benefit of reading.

This year I am going to do something a little different. Because of the number of books I read last year, it was difficult to keep up with personal reviews. Since I want this site to be more of a listing of what I read, I may copy a review from a source like Amazon.com (I will give full credit if I do that) if I don't have time to do my own. I still would like to give some sort of opinion on the book as well.

Also, as you can see, I gave the site a bit of a facelift. I was getting sick of that green. I added a counter as well. This site has probably gotten quite a number of hits over the past three years but I never bothered with a counter. This time, I figured "what the hell" and put one in.
