54. Margot Arnold - Zadok's Treasure
"When his colleague, Bill Pearson, vanishes from an archaeological dig in Israel, Sir Toby is persuaded to investigate. Bill, he learns, has been on the verge of discovering the vast legendary treasure of Zadok, high priest to Solomon. But when Toby comes upon the tortured and mutilated body of his friend, he accidentally uncovers a cleverly hidden document that he recognizes as the archaeological find of the decade, perhaps of all time.
Meanwhile, Penny's inquiries in Jerusalem reveal that the discovery may have placed Toby's life in extreme danger. So this time it's Penny to the rescue, racing against time and against a murderer who will kill again and again unless stopped." - Back of book
I saw this author listed on the Stop, You're Killing Me website and since I was feeling adventurous decided to get a copy of one of her books from the library. It was ok. Felt more like I was reading an old Agatha Christie book but not as good. Don't know if I'll read her again.
