47. Terry Pratchett - Guards! Guards!

Another classic Pratchett book, though this one seems as though the author watched a three day marathon of Monty Python before writing this. I was on the floor laughing quite a bit.

The leader of one of Ankh-Morpork's many secret societies decides that he wants to summon a dragon to help him take control of the city. However, the dragon has other plans and eventually crowns itself king. It is up to the deshelved Night Guard to attempt to free the city of the dragon's grasp.
