49. Terry Pratchett - Eric
Wow...almost to the goal of 50 books. Can she do it? hehe
This time the book's protagonist (if you can call him that) is Eric, a very young and very naive demonologist. In his determination to get the ultimate three wishes--rule the world, have the most beautiful woman in the world, and be the richest man in the world--Eric summons a demon...well, at least tries to. Instead, he gets Rincewind who had been trapped in the Dungeon Dimensions since he saved the world in Sourcery. Rincewind is actually given some sort of demonic power to grant Eric those three wishes, but in a way that teaches Eric that his desires may not seem so appealing after all.
Another classic Pratchett book. It was a nice easy read and very enjoyable. I highly recommend it.
