43. J.K. Rowling - Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Audio CD)
OK, I know this technically isn't reading a book, but in a sense I did "read" it through this book on tape. It is the unabridged version too so I did listen to the entire book on 20 CD's over a period of a month.
I won't sum up the book since I read it before, but I have to make one comment about the audio verion: Jim Dale, the reader, does a fantastic job. He is excellent at character impressions giving each character its own unique voice. I have listened to numerous books on tape before and they had all put me to sleep, but Dale adds spice through his inflections and impressions so the listener really gets into the mood of the book.
I enjoyed this version so much that I've gotten a copy of "The Order of the Phoenix" on CD to listen to next.
