43. Sue Grafton - "C" is For Corpse

In this book, Kinsey is hired by Bobby Callahan, a spoiled little rich kid who thinks someone tried to murder him in a hit and run accident nine months earlier. However, because of the brain damage he suffered, he can't remember any of the details of what happened or why he thought someone would try to kill him. He hired Kinsey to fill in the gaps. In the course of her investigation, Bobby dies in a car crash before she has the chance to figure out who was after him. Was accidental or was it a planned murder? Kinsey wasn't going to give up that easily and she was determined to find out what was behind all of this and who killed Bobby. Another good quick read.

These three books were nice and easy reads. Perfect for days when I was feeling miserable between root canals and having my wisdom teeth pulled.
