34. Tanya Huff - Blood Price

Fantastic book! It's a story about Vicki "Victory" Nelson, an ex-cop turned PI. When an unexplained evil starts killing people all over Toronto, she gets hired by one of the victim's lovers to find out what is doing the killing. The papers are saying that it's a vampire that's terrorizing the city. However, after she meets up with Henry Fitzroy, the bastard son of Henry VIII and a vampire, she discovers that it's something much worse. The two of them team up to solve the mystery together (her doing days, him doing nights). I loved it! Good easy read too. Two thumbs up!
